Jamie Smith (Castle Royle) carded a 74 to return the best gross score in the Tadmarton Heath Junior Open. The winner of the R&A Putter itself was Drayton Park’s Evan Thomas with a fantastic 92 net 67.

Alfie Westbrook (Frilford Heath) finished next best to Jamie with a 78 and Liam Heath (Tadmarton Heath), Oliver Jones (Tadmarton Heath) and Alex Keen (Gerrards Cross) all featured.

Despite shooting 78 on the day, Harry Gale (Goring & Streatley) did just enough to stay in front of Freddie Horner (Goring & Streatley) and took the BB&O Junior Order of Merit Trophy for 2021
