For the 2025 season, BB&O we have changed the structure of the Order of Merits. The Junior Order of Merit will be split into two different events – Junior Handicap Order of Merit & Junior Scratch Order of Merit. The winner from each event will win a £40 voucher. Only male players from BB&O clubs can earn Order of Merit points and be eligible to win the voucher. The winner of the Order of Merit will be the player that accumulates the most points across the season and will win a £100 voucher and trophy. 

The Men’s Order of Merit will now be split to become the Club Order of Merit and the BB&O Player of the Year. Players must play a minimum of 5 events to be eligible to win the BB&O Club Order of Merit with all points accumulated counting towards the total. The player with the most points at the end of the season will win the Club Order of Merit Trophy & a £500 voucher. 

The top 10 players in each event will earn Order of Merit Points (1st = 10…10th = 1). 18 hole events will be worth 50% of the points with 36 holes being 100%. The only Order of Merit based on net results will be the Junior Handicap Order of Merit, the rest will be based on the scratch results.
