BB&O are league champions!

The BB&O First Team were competing in the South Eastern Group County League Final against Surrey at Millbrook Golf Club on Sunday 6th October. Olly Huggins & Adam Birdseye lead the way winning their foursomes match 6&5, followed by a half from Rory Browne & James Brockington. Aaron Ashberry & Jack Haines narrowly missed out on the 18th and Kevin Freeman & Tom Lawson won their match 5&3 to give BB&O the lead going into the afternoon session.

The afternoon singles session came down to the wire with the first two matches going Surrey’s way. Jack Haines and James Brockington both clinched a point for BB&O on the 18th. Tom Lawson won his match 4&3 which meant BB&O only needed 1 more point to secure the league title. Aaron Ashberry went 2 up with 2 to play, securing the winning point on the 17th.
