Futures Tour Temple

Futures Tour Temple

The Futures Tour moved onto Temple for its second event of the year. It was cold but dry day and Temple was set up beautifully. The U12 net section was won by Oscar Bolton (Drayton Park) with a fine 66. In second place was Jack Chantrey (Deanwood Park) 2 shots behind with a 68. The gross section was won by Billy Wood (Stoke Park) with a great score of 81 in difficult conditions. In second was Simon Mead (Newbury & Crookham) who shot a gross 85.

The U14 net section was won by Charlie Hing (Winter Hill) with a fine net score of 67. Back in second losing on countback was Alex Barnett (Ellesborough). The gross section was won by Peter Pan (Oxford City) with an impressive score of 75. Back in second and just 1 shot behind on 76 was Ben McFadden (Stoke Park).

The U15 net section was won by James MacFarlane with 74 (Maidenhead) and on the same score but losing out on countback was Lewis Gardner (Flackwell Heath). The winner of the gross section and taking home the trophy was Harry Thomas (Frilford Heath) who beat Harry Gale (Goring & Streatley) to the title with a fine gross of 75. Special thanks to Temple for hosting the event and for preparing the course wonderfully despite recent poor weather conditions.
