Huggins performs well in South Africa

First team squad member Olly Huggins shot a final round 67 (-5) to finish with a 284 total (-4) in the African Amateur Stroke Play Championship. Olly held the clubhouse lead until Martin Vorster holed a 30ft putt on the 18th for eagle and matched Olly’s score. Unfortunately Olly missed out on the trophy on the 4th play-off hole but a very strong performance to start the season. Peter Handcock also competed in the event and finished a very respectable T31.

Well played and good luck in the next event!
