Open Champion

Due to the current economic climate it has been decided by the R&A to save everyone a lot of time and money and to change the format of the Championship this year. This year’s Champion, with (just) an Active Handicap, blitzed the field with an impressive 144 stableford points over the 72 holes with just 6 blobs, on the demanding Hunstanton pitch and putt. Tigger was tied for second but had 7 flobs and lost on countback. Luke and Rory were left in the shade – it was quite sunny though. Colin was grumpy and Lee couldn’t putt. If only he had my short game!
