Nick Scrutton (Castle Royle) won the Courage Trophy by 2 shots from Ashley Watkins (East Berkshire) at Frilford Heath on 6th July. Some really good scoring on the Red Course saw 8 players better or equal the 148 standard scratch for the course. Nice to play golf on a glorious day, at a great venue in terrific condition, combined with a friendly welcome – and nice food too!
