Junior Champion Club

East Berkshire made home advantage count as they won the Junior Champion Club on 9th April on a delightful Spring day. In the closest fought contest for many years, just 4 shots separated the first 6 Clubs. With the 3rd nett score being used in countback, it was the East Berkshire Team of Lewis Bird, Ben Platt and Bradley Tucker that posted the best score to edge out Castle Royle. Just one back in 3rd place were Woburn with Stoke Park another shot back in 4th. This year there were no outrageous nett scores that have caused some consternation in the past.
