England Golf Junior Champion Club

Three juniors from Buckingham Golf Club who won the BB&O Junior Champion Club qualifier at North Oxford earlier in the year travelled to The Home of England Golf, Woodhall Spa to compete against 32 other counties in the National Junior Champion Club Final. They performed very well and finished 9th. The scores were very close and it was an exciting final day. Unfortunatley they dropped a few places after high flying into third after day 1 but with a windy 2nd day they lost a bit of ground. Huw Pearson managed to keep a consistent game both days and play to his handicap on a great course that was certainly challenging – he finished tied 6th out of 96 for the individual rankings. All three boys absolutely loved the experience and thanked BB&O for the great opportunity to play golf at such a super course.
