Futures Tour Henley

The tenth Futures Tour event of the season was at Henley. It was a very warm day but the boys battled well and the scores reflect that. In the U12 section Simon Mead (Newbury & Crookham) took the title with an 84. In second 6 shots back on 90 was Joe Getley (Hazelmere). In the net section Toby Pressey (Castle Royle) sealed the win with a 75 while Jamie Smith (Castle Royle) was second on 76.

In the U14 section Ben Lovard (Woburn) sealed another win with a very impressive best of the day 75. This beat Edward Wang (Wokefield Park) by two strokes who had 77. Ollie Lewis (Wokefield Park) took the net title with a very good 67. This pipped James MacFarlane (Maidenhead) by a single shot as he signed for 68.

In the U15 section Joshua Roche (Frilford Heath) took the title with a very good 76. This beat fellow Frilford player Charlie Haynes who signed for 78. In the net section Oscar Fowler took the title with 74 and in second playing his first Futures Tour event was George Johnson (Beaconsfield). The tour’s next stop is Woburn before the final event of the year at Frilford Heath in October.
