David Langley to play European Tour event

By any standards David Langley had a fantastic amateur career. He represented England and was BB&O’s stalwart performer for the last few years. It’s no surprise that he has continued in that vein having now turned professional.

He has just topped the “Race to Jordan” in the Mena Tour – a highly competitive professional tour that operates in the Middle East. Having won in Aqaba on the new Alya Golf complex he then performed solidly (and sometimes brilliantly) in his next two events and could not be overtaken when the tour returned to Aqaba. By edging out fellow England Golf player David Hague, Langley has guaranteed a spot in the Trophee Hassan ll European Tour event.

Having recently visited the fantastic Alya Golf Complex (I can highly recommend it) David’s three round total of -11 proves that he can score in any conditions. The course plays at a little over 7,100 yards long and it’s firm, tight fairways demand precision approach shots, in particular with the wedges.

We wish David luck and will follow his professional progress closely.
