Kelloway shoots -1 to win

Kelloway shoots -1 to win

Another lucky day on the course where the thunder storms stayed away. Twenty-four boys were competing in our Under 14 Championship to become our Under 12 and Under 14 Champion.

In the Under 12’s competition, Nathan Baggett (Beaconsfield) used his home advantage to set the pace with a very impressive gross 80 of a handicap of 16. As the rain poured it didn’t stop the boys from performing well. Harvey Cooper (Huntercombe) shot a gross 79 to take the lead in the gross competition for the Under 12’s. Congratulations to Harvey who is the BB&O Under 12’s Champion.

Alfie Burt (Wexham Park) was leading the way in the Under 14 with a gross 76. Oliver Kelloway (Woburn) played superb, an eagle on 10 helped him shoot 71 (-1)! The scoring was very good in the nett competition with Matthew Heys (Wexham Park) shooting a 66 however just falling short to Alfie Burt (Wexham Park).

Congratulations to Oliver Kelloway on becoming our Under 14 champion!

Thank you to Beaconsfield for presenting the course in fantastic condition!
