Loveard on form at Home Internationals
U18 squad member Ben Loveard (Woburn) is representing England Boys in the Home Internationals at Woodhall Spa. Ben played alongside William Horne and won their foursomes match on the 18th (2up). In the afternoon Ben played against Luke Cunningham in the singles and won 6&5. A great start to Ben’s first Home Internationals and a victory for England against Ireland.
On day 2, England took on Wales however with a Wales team testing positive England were given a walkover for those players who had to self isolate. England are competing against Scotland today with Ben winning his singles match 3&1 in the morning. In the afternoon foursomes, Ben is playing alongside William again who are currently A/S through 9, you can view the live scoring here.
