The prestigious Sunningdale Foursomes event took place from Tuesday 10th to Friday 13th March over the New and Old Course at Sunningdale Golf Club. There was a fantastic representation of BB&O players who got selected to compete in the event including U14 squad member Sebastian Duffield (Sand Martins), U18 squad member Jamie McGeoch (The Berkshire) and former BB&O player Eddie Pepperell.
Jamie McGeoch, partnered by England Squad member Ellie Lichtenhein took down highly respected players including Richard McEvoy and Matthew Southgate as they reached the final day. Jamie & Ellie took control of the semi final and closed it out on 17 winning 3&1. They faced Jordan Loft and Jamie Dick in the final. The match was nip and tuck the whole way and they found themselves 1 down after 10 holes. After battling back and they won holes 11, 14, 15 & 16 to secure the victory.
