Archie wins at Henley

The Futures Tour headed to Henley Golf Club on Wednesday 31st August where 50 boys were competing for their chance to gain some order of merit points. Dan Butteriss (Beaconsfield) eagled the 18th to finish on level par and to set a clubhouse target in the U16’s age category. Harvey Dobson (Wexham Park) and Jamie Smith (Castle Royle) both shot 72 but Jamie snuck into second place on count back. 

Archie Sollis (Cotswold Club) shot +5 (70) to set the pace in the U14’s event. Josh Waldegrave (Gerrards Cross) finished with a 79 to take 2nd place. Matthew Gough (The Springs) had a great round and won the U14’s net prize with a 69. Oliver O’Dell (Goring & Streatley) birdied the last to shoot 79 and take the lead in the U12’s category. Isaac Hayes (Feldon Valley) had a solid back nine (+1) to shoot 82 and finish 2nd in the U12’s. 

Congratulations to Dan Butteriss, Archie Sollis and Oliver O’Dell on winning the scratch prize in their respective age categories.
