Autumn Trophy

Autumn Trophy

Jack Haines (Buckinghamshire) successfully defended the Autumn Trophy over 28 holes at Harleyford on 21st September. Due to extreme slowness of play, with many groups taking between 4½ and 4¾ hours to complete 18 holes, the Committee decided that there was no chance of all the players finishing in daylight and therefore curtailed the second round to just 10 holes.  Chris Little (Frilford Heath) finished just one shot adrift and Marc Grimsey (Harewoods Downs) a futher shot back.
