BB&O Senior Sprint Series

The season took off at last on Tuesday 18th March with the Senior Sprint Series. A full field descended upon Denham Golf Club for their first chance to pick up some Order of Merit points. The sun was shining but the wind proved challenging. Robin Carter (Mill Ride) finished with 2 birdies in the last 3 holes to set the clubhouse target of 32 points. Alan McIlwain (The Caversham) played a very steady game including 16 pars in a row until 1 dropped shot at the 17th to finish on 35 points. That dropped shot proved crucial as Justin Rhodes (Woburn) birdied 16 and 18 to take the top spot. Congratulations to Justin on a strong start to his season..
