BB&O Seniors v Middlesex

BB&O Seniors v Middlesex

A slightly depleted BB&O Seniors team travelled to Ealing Golf Club to face Middlesex Seniors. Having lost Douglas Cameron over the winter when he moved to Sussex, the team also looked very different with the likes of Tim Whittaker (Beaconsfield), Ashley Brewer (Denham), Mike Sanders (Beaconsfield), David Niven (East Berkshire) and David Cromie (East Berkshire) all unavailable.

Although Malcolm Reid (Castle Royle) managed to play within weeks of an operation he still struggled for fitness.

Newcomers Bob Lucas (Sand Martins) and Michael Bower (Burnham Beeches) and Gary Mumford (Woburn) all managed victories along with Adam Peak (The Berkshire) but the team didn’t quite do enough and lost 6-4.
