On Thursday 28th May, BB&O descended on Huntercombe Golf Club for the annual U25 Mixed Championship. Alfie Westbrook (Frilford Heath) went out early producing 4 birdies and 4 bogeys on his way to taking the clubhouse lead on level par. Aidan Benger used his home advantage to throw himself in the mix however a bogey at 17 left him 1 shot shy at +1. Emily Gilmour (Beaconsfield) had a great round on +2 to be the best girl in the field. Bradley Hopkin (Newbury & Crookham) continued his fine form as he found himself +3 at the turn and a late flurry of birdies resulted in a -3 back nine to clinch trophy from Alfie on count back. Congratulations to Bradley on becoming the U25 Champion alongside his Spring Trophy victory earlier in the month.

BB&O had a strong representation at the Lagonda Trophy played at Gog Magog Golf Club. Seven BB&O players made the cut with four finishing in the top 10. Oli Martin (Sand Martins) shot a -5 final round to throw himself into contention and into a play-off. Unfortunately the play off didn’t go his way but a great performance none the less. We’re excited to continue watching the progress of our players this summer. You can view the full leaderboard here.
