Ben shoots 66

On Thursday 25th July, 51 boys competed in our Futures Tour event at Sand martins Golf Club on the hottest day of the year. Oliver Kelloway (Woburn) shot 78 to win the U12 Gross prize ahead of Daniel Butteriss (Wexham Park). Alfie Burt (Wexham Park) shot a great 68 to take the nett prize, 3 shots ahead of Alfie Westbrook (Frilford Heath). In the Under 14 category, Connor Jacob (Frilford Heath) shot a gross 77 just coming up shy of Charlie Hing (Castle Royle). In the nett competition Joshua Gibson (Huntswood) took 1st place with a 71, followed closely by Toby Pressey (Castle Royle) with a nett 73.

There was some very impressive golf in the Under 16 category with Ben Mcfadden (Stoke Park) shooting the round of the day. Ben shot a bogey free, 66 (-4) which included an eagle on the 3rd hole. Finlay Szafnauer (Frilford Heath) shot a steady level par (70) to finish second in the gross competition. Ben Loveard (Woburn) shot a nett 70 to finish second behind Oliver Jones (Tadmarton Heath) who shot a nett 67 to take the nett prize.

Thank you to Sand Martins for hosting another great Futures Tour, we look forward to our next event at Maidenhead.
