Ben wins at Henley

The sun was shining for our next Futures Tour event at Henley Golf Club, where 44 boys were battling it out for the top spot.  Archie Sollis (Cotswolds Club) lead the way in the Under 12’s event with a gross 84, closely followed by Joshua Waldegrave (Gerrards Cross). Marcus Smith (Stoke Park) had a fine round shooting a nett 68 to win the nett prize.

Samuel Codrington (Woburn) set the pace in the Under 14’s with a gross 75. Samuel won the U14’s prize by 3 shots ahead of Daniel Butteries (Wexham Park). Alex Keen (Wexham Park) had a solid round and shot a nett 69 to win the nett prize, 2 shots head of Alfie Westbrook (Frilford Heath). Edward Davis (Studley Wood) went out early and set a clubhouse target of gross 70. Edward stayed at the top of the leaderboard until Ben McFadden (Castle Royle) had 5 birdies on his way to shooting 69 (-1). A great round by Ben!

Congratulations to Archie Sollis, Samuel Codrington and Ben McFadden for winning!

Thank you to Henley for hosting the event, the course was in fantastic condition.
