Connor shoots 71 to win

The Futures Tour headed to Hadden Hill, where the strong winds resulted in challenging conditions. In the U12’s event, Isaac Hayes (Feldon Valley) shot 92 to take an early lead ahead of Thomas James (Drayton Park) on 95. Joshua Waldegrave (Gerrards Cross) went 1 shot better to finish on 91 to take the lead. Sander Andreasen (Maidenhead) matched Josh’s 91 to take the victory on count back. Isaac Hayes won the U12’s net competition with 77.

Jake Passingham (Chartridge Park) had a successful debut after shooting 75 (net 64) to set a great clubhouse target for the U14’s. Alfie Westbrook (Frilford Heath) had a solid score of 80 (net 72) in the conditions to move into the U14s second place. However Alfie didn’t stay in 2nd place for long as Alfie Burt (Wexham Park) came in 1 shot better. Jake’s 75 secured him the U14’s gross trophy!

Oscar Phelps (Frilford Heath) had a steady round of 77 to lead the way in the U16’s. Edward Davis (Studley Wood) finished two shots better with a 75 but that wasn’t good enough to take the top spot as Connor Jacob (Goring & Streatley) shot a very impressive level par (71) in very tough conditions. Connor’s 71 was a great score over a tight and challenging course and worthy of victory!

Congratulations to all the winners today and thank you to Hadden Hill for hosting a great Futures Tour event!
