Conor Gough selected for England U16s

Conor Gough continues his fantastic season by being selected to play for England against Scotland on 24th September at Rockliffe Hall Golf Club (Durham) and then against Ireland on the 25th September at Castletown Golf Club.

After winning both the Douglas Johns, and The Reid Trophy earlier in the season Conor was then selected to represent England in the Italian U16s International Championship at Biella La Betulle Golf Club. After a disappointing opening round of 77 which was 6 shots off the lead, Conor then fired rounds of 71, 72 and 71 to close the gap to 2 shots and finish second to Tim Mayer of Germany.

Having previously been picked to play against Wales, Conor will be one of only two 14 year olds in the team and his selection endorses just what a fantastic prospect he is.
