County Card Event

County Card Event

Burnham Beeches played host to the first ever County Card event. There was a strong field of 52 players from all over the County taking part. In first place with 39 points was David Bonnett (Ellesborough). Just a point behind was Bernie Boyle (Royal Ascot). A further point behind on 37 was Alan Horscroft (Calcot Park). This beat Ian Dixon (Newbury & Crookham) on countback after he also scored 37 points. Well done to all competitors for getting round in the heat and thank you to Burham Beeches for hosting us and for preparing the golf course wonderfully despite the recent warm weather.
