County Finals
The County Final between BB&O and Kent went right down to the wire on Sunday 2nd October at The Army Golf Club, Hampshire. Playing against a very strong Kent line up, the foursomes were halved 2-2.
In the afternoon matches, leads were constantly changing hands and after a half by Timothy Shin and wins from Olly Huggins and Tom Butterworth BB&O needed to win both of their last two matches to take the title. Although Craig Buttivant held onto his lead to gain another point, Kent’s Danny Jones produced flawless golf over the closing holes to prevent BB&O from taking the honours.
