County v Hertfordshire

The County enjoyed a good win against Herfordshire at Heythrop Park on Sunday 26th June. On a scorchingly hot day it was a real test of stamina for all the players walking the 7,100 yard course plus the long walks between tees twice in a day. We got off to a great start in the morning foursomes taking those 3½-½. This left us in a comfortable position for the afternoon singles and wins from debutante Andrew Lynch, Tom Wilde, and the 2 Ashleys gave us a 7½-4½ victory.
