Ed shoots 66!

The first Futures Tour of 2021 took place at Temple Golf Club on Sunday 9th May. With kind conditions, Aziz Chaudhary (Wexham Park) got the ball rolling with an awesome 87 net 65. Aziz’s 87 was good enough to win the gross U12 prize on count back to Sander Andreasen. Theo Becker (Drayton Park) had a great round shooting a net 68, however Marcus Smith (Stoke Park) just pipped him on count back to win the Under 12’s net category.

Congratulations to Nathan Baggett from Beaconsfield who had a hole in one on the way to shooting a net 68! Alex Levene-Estridge (Bearwood Lakes) shot a gross 80 to lead the way in the U14 gross event until Oliver Kelloway (Woburn), Daniel Butteries (Beaconsfield) and Billy Wood (Stoke Park) all came in with 79. Daniel took the top spot on count back. Nathan Baggett won the net prize, one shot ahead of Alex Keen (Wexham Park).

Liam Heath (Tadmarton Heath) set the way for the Under 16’s shooting a great 73 net 67. Liam led the way until the final group came in. Ed Davis (Studley Wood) finished birdie birdie to shoot a very impressive 66 (-4)! James Sampson (Henley) won the U16 net prize with a 70 on count back to Jamie Smith (Stoke Park).

Congratulations to everyone on a great day! We look forward to our next Futures Tour event at Cotswolds Club on June 1st.
