European Boys Team Championship

European Boys Team Championship

The 2018 European Boys Team Championship is one of the highlights of the Junior International calendar. BB&O Junior Elite player Conor Gough was selected as one of six players to represent England. The event starts by mirroring the South East Group Junior 6 man team event where 6 players play 36 holes and the best 5 gross scores count towards the teams total. Having helped the BB&O Junior team to finish second just a matter of days earlier Conor yet again played some brilliant golf and fired rounds of 71 & 69. Conor had the best two round total out of the England team who finished third in the strokeplay section of the event. Conor went undefeated throughout the matchplay stages and was the only England player to do so. His 100% record helped England to finish in third place. Well done Conor and lets hope he continues his fine form going into the McGregor Trophy!
