Fairhaven Trophy 2017

Fairhaven Trophy 2017

The Fairhaven trophy, is a prestigious U18 event, played on the demanding 7200 yard Fairhaven GC, situated a few miles from Royal Lytham. 120 top junior golfers from all over Europe, with handicaps of (1.2) or better, compete for this coveted title.

The cut after 36 holes, only allowed 34 boys and ties, to progress to the final 36 holes on Sunday. Three of our boys performed very well to even make the cut. In very difficult conditions , with high gusting winds and hard greens, BB&O’s  Kristian Tannum Donaldson finished a respectable 25th, whilst our two 14 year olds, (the youngest boys in the field) performed superbly, with Tom Gregory finishing 10th and Conor Gough tied 3rd. This was a tremendous performance, in such a high quality field.
