Finlay wins at East Berkshire

East Berkshire hosted our penultimate Futures Tour event, where 55 boys faced the challenging conditions. Despite the wind and the rain Billy Wood (Stoke Park) shot a very impressive 75 to win the gross prize by 4 shots ahead of Jake Valentine (Stoke Park). William Mannering (Stoke Park) came second in the nett prize with 70, 2 shots behind Archie Sollis (Cotsworlds Club).

In the Under 14 category Liam Heath (Tadmarton Heath) took the nett prize with 67 closely followed by Joshua Gibson (Huntswood). Samuel Codrington (Woburn) won the gross prize with a 76 ahead of Simon Mead (Newbury & Crookham).  Harry Thomas (Frilford Heath) narrowly missed out on the nett prize to Thomas Ream (Tadmarton Heath) who finished with a nett 69. It was a close battle in the gross competition with Finlay Szafnauer (Frilford Heath) sneaking the victory on count back to Edward Wang (Wokefield Park) with both players shooting an impressive 73 in tough conditions.

Thank you for East Berkshire for hosting a super Futures Tour event!
