First Team Triumph against Seniors and Juniors

Last year saw the very first playing of a triangular match pitting the BB&O County team against the BB&O Senior Team and the BB&O Junior Under 18 team.

This year the Seniors were keen to retain their trophy but were always going to be up against it on the long and beautifully presented Frilford Heath Red Course. There were two international players representing  the Seniors and no fewer than three representing the Junior Elite.

After the morning singles the First Team held a slender lead over the Seniors with the Juniors lagging behind. A strong performance in the afternoon saw the First Team pull well clear of the Seniors who finished comfortably ahead of the Junior Elite. Rory Browne (Feldon Valley)was top scorer for the County First Team with three victories from three. George Bell (Harewood Downs), David Morris (Woburn), Tim Shin (Castle Royle) and Rymer Smith (Buckinghamshire) were all undefeated.
