Franz Klammer Trophy

Finlay Szafnauer (Frilford Heath) played in the annual Franz Klammer trophy which is held in Austria and is one of the the most sought after trophy in Austrian golf. There were 90 men and 60 women who participated in a stroke play competition which Finlay won by 3 strokes; he shot a 3 over 75.  The course was a quite challenging mountain course with very narrow fairways and small greens.  The CR (Course Rating) was 72.1 and the Slope Rating was 126; on the more difficult end of the spectrum.   The length of the course, although measured in meters, was approximately 6,700 yards. Finlay below being presented the trophy by Franz himself. Well done Finlay!
