Futures Tour Hadden Hill

Futures Tour Hadden Hill

The fifth Futures Tour event of 2017 was held at Hadden Hill. The course was looking excellent and some of the scores reflect that. In the U12 section Connor Jacob (Reading) took the title with a gross 85. Three strokes back was Simon Mead (Newbury & Crookham) with a gross 88. Matthew Heys (Wexham Park) won the net section with a fantastic 69. This was good enough to win by three with Ferdie Armitage (Ellesbrough) in second.

The U14 section was won by Huw Pearson (Buckingham) with a gross 73. In second place with a gross 76 was Harry Gale (Goring & Streatley). Freddie Horner (Goring & Streatley) shot a net 67 to take the title on countback from Harrison Coleman (Newbury & Crookham).

The U15 section was won by Struan Hancock (Stoke Park) who shot a wonderful 69 which was a -2 gross. A truly great score but just 4 shots back with a 73 was Will Tate (Caversham Heath). In the net section John Wellman took the title with 66 and in second was Charlie Haynes (Frilford Heath) with a net 67.
