Futures Tour Henley

The Futures Tour moved into the final leg of events for the 2018 season beginning at Henley Golf Club. Vital Order of Merit points were up for grabs and the course was in great condition and the greens fast. The U12 net section was won by Matthew Heys (Wexham Park) with 66. Two behind after scoring 68 was Alex Alder (Castle Royle). The gross section was won by Simon Mead (Newbury & Crookham) after he fired an excellent 78. This beat Billy Wood (Stoke Park) by two strokes after he scored 80.

The U14 net section was won by Joseph Antonellie-Pike (Donnington Grove) after he scored an impressive 62. Just a single stroke back after scoring 63 round his home club was Archie Fulbrook (Henley). The winner of the U14 gross section was Connor Jacob (Frilford Heath) after he fired an equal best of the day 71. Two behind on 73 and in second place was Ben McFadden (Stoke Park).

The U15 net section was won by the inform player James MacFarlane (Maidenhead) after he scored 67. In second after shooting 70 was Lewis Gardner (Flackwell Heath). The gross section was won by Charlie Robb (Buckingham) who scored 71. In second after scoring 73 was Charlie Roper (The Berkhsire).

Our thanks must go to Henley for hosting the event and we look forward to the next event at East Berkshire in September.
