Futures Tour Maidenhead

The Futures Tour moved onto its next event at Maidenhead. Unfortunately, the weather for the early starters was far from ideal with persistent heavy rain but it did brighten up and turned into a pleasant afternoon.

The U12 net section was won by Oliver Mosses (Easthampstead) with an excellent 68 which was mostly complied during the worst of the weather. In second with a net 70 was Matthew Heys (Wexham Park). The gross section was won by the ever present Simon Mead (Newbury & Crookham) with 79. Just a stroke behind on 80 and in second place was Daniel Butteriss (Wexham Park).

The U14 net section was won by Ollie Lewis (Wokefield Park) with an excellent 66. Charlie Hing (Winter Hill) was in second after he scored 68. The U14 gross section was won by the inform Freddie Horner (Goring & Streatley) with 73. In second just a stroke behind after carding 74 was Tom Stephenson-Green (Frilford Heath).

Thomas Owen (Frilford Heath) won the U15 net section with 67 and this beat Huw Pearson (Buckingham) by 6 after he fired a 73. The U15 gross section was won by the home player James Macfarlane (Maidenhead) who picked up his first Futures Tour win with a fine 73. In second after shooting 75 was Ben Loveard (Woburn).
