Futures Tour Maidenhead

The Futures Tour moved into Maidenhead for its next event and the course was set up tough with some tricky pins to keep the boys on their toes. In the U12 section Joseph Lawton (East Berks) fired a gross 81 to give him the title. In second place on 87 was Connor Jacob (Newbury & Crookham). The net section was won by Ben Pusey (Wexham Park) with a fine 71. Billy Wood who is also from Wexham park was in second on 75.

The U14 section was won by Huw Pearson (Buckingham) with 78 fresh after a fine performance in The England Golf Junior Champion Club at Woodhall Spa. This beat Ben McFadden (Stoke Park) by 2 shots who signed for an 80. Edward Wang (Wokefield Park) won the net section with 72, pipping Freddie Horner (Goring & Streatley) on countback.

The U15 section was won by the U15 OOM leader Archie Smith (Caversham Heath) who fired a 74 in the difficult scoring conditions. In second was Oscar Fowler (Stoke Park) with 75. James Casserly (Beaconsfield) won the net with a best of the day 69. This beat Will Tate (Caversham Heath) who scored 71.
