Gough is the Master of Amateurs

Former BB&O Amateur Champion and current first team player, John Gough (The Berkshire), has won the Australian Master of the Amateurs at Southern Golf Club. Following on from John’s record breaking opening first round (-8), he went on to shoot +2, -5 & -4 to finish -15 for the tournament and 4 shots ahead of the next competitor. John has become the first Englishman to win this event – a great achievement which will kick start his season!
