Gregor Wins Handicap Championship

The sun was shining on Friday 28th June when 58 players competed at Calcot Park for our Handicap Championship. The course was looking magnificent with the greens in top shape ahead of their club championship. It proved a challenge which some players were able rise to. In fourth place on count back to Simon Powell (Calcot Park) was Hamish Hall (North Oxford) with 35 points, 1 point ahead of Steve Critchell (Newbury & Crookham) in third. It was close at the top with only 1 point in it, Ross Drummond from Frilford Heath shot 37 points just shy of Gregor Peberdy (Maidenhead) shooting a very impressive 38 points!
