Himal wins Futures Tour

Himal wins Futures Tour

The Futures Tour returned to Temple Golf Club on Monday 5th August. The firm conditions and challenging rough proved difficult for some players. Josh Waldegrave (Beaconsfield) went out early and set the pace in the U16’s finishing birdie-birdie for a 2-over par 71. Jakob Payne (Bicester) sat just two shots back in second place. Himal Gurung (Woburn) shot 2 under par on the front nine on his way to carding a season best level par (69) to take the lead in the U14’s age category. Faeez Chaudhary (Beaconsfield) shot level par on the back nine which helped to a 76 leaving him in second place behind Himal. In the U12’s event, Aneesh Singh (Castle Royle) moved to the top of the leaderboard after shooting 83 to finish 1 shot ahead of Aaron Chana (Calcot Park). Following on from his success on the Development Tour, Arthur Hodgson shot a nett 67 to win the handicap prize in the U12’s division.

Congratulations to Josh, Himal and Aneesh!
