Jack wins at North Oxford

The Futures Tour continues to thrive as 72 U16’s headed to North Oxford to compete in the next event in the series. In the U12’s division, Arthur Scott (The Caversham) shot 76 to finish top the gross leaderboard, 1 shot ahead of Arthur Hodgson (Kirtlington). Arthur’s win moved him into first place in the current U12 Order of Merit standings. Alessandro Zhang (Beaconsfield), Jack Grant (Gerrards Cross) & Rex Pickavance (Castle Royle) all had steady rounds to finish +1 in the nett division.

Dominic Rosser (The Caversham) continued his fine form with a level par back nine on his way to shooting 75. Jackson Tuohy (Tadmarton Heath) went 1 shot better to take the title in the U14’s gross division with a 74. Jackson’s second win of the season has cemented his place at the top of the Order of Merit after 3 events. Benjamin Wragg (The Oxfordshire) shot 67 to win the nett division.

In the U16’s age division, Ollie O’Dell (The Springs) went out early and set the pace shooting 70 (+3). Jack Isard (Frilford Heath) had 2 birdies in the last 4 holes to clinch the win after shooting 68. Alfie Jones (Chiltern Forest) and Sam Blake (Kirtlington) had two very impressive rounds carding a nett 64. Ollie’s second place has pushed him up the Order of Merit standings as he shares the top spot with Isaac Hayes (Feldon Valley).

Congratulations to Arthur, Jackson and Jack on winning their age divisions.
