Jakob wins Futures Tour

The Futures Tour went to North Oxford on Sunday 19th June where over 50 boys competed for their chance to grab some Order of Merit points. Jarad Canderton (Drayton Park) got the ground running in his first event with a net 64. Oakley Norbron (Wexham Park) had a great round with a gross 77 to top the U14’s leaderboard. However this didn’t stay at the top for long as Jakob Payne (Burford) had a very impressive 71 which was closely followed by Aziz Chaudhary (Beaconsfield) with a 74. Thomas James (Drayton Park) snuck ahead in the U12’s category with a gross 80. Isaac Hayes (Feldon Valley) finished second in the U12’s with a 81. Harvey Dobson (Wexham Park) had a steady round of 70 which put him at the top of the U16’s leaderboard with one group left to finish. Daniel Butteriss (Beaconsfield) had 4 birdies on the way to shooting level par and win the U16 category.
