Josh wins back-to-back

The Futures Tour went to Temple Golf Club on Sunday 14th May. The sun was shining down on the 60 boys who were competing and provided the perfect golfing conditions. Alfie Burt (Wexham Park) had a very steady round shooting 73 (+4) to set a clubhouse target. Archie Sollis (Tadmarton Heath) just came up shy with a 74 (+5). Nobody could catch Alfie’s 73 and so he won the U16 division. James Harris (Burford) had a fantastic round giving him the U16’s net prize with a 66.

Josh Waldegrave (Gerrards Cross) was very consistent which resulted in a 75 (+6) finishing 1 shot ahead of Jakob Payne (Burford) in the U14 category and ensured Josh’s second consecutive win. Joe Swaine (The Springs) had a great round earning him a net 69 however this wasn’t good enough has Thenuka Rajapaksha (Beaconsfield) pipped him with a 67 in the U14’s net division.

Sebastian Duffield (Sand Martins) continued his fine form and shot a very impressive 74 to sit at the top of the U12’s leaderboard. Vinnie James (Drayton Park) had a phenomenal round shooting 4 under his handicap to win the U12’s net division with a 65.
