Nathan shoots -1 to win
The U12’s & U14’s Championship headed to Beaconsfield on Monday 15th August where 30 boys were competing for their chance to be crowned champion. Billyjoe Temple (Wexham Park) had a fantastic round of 82 to set a clubhouse target for those boys yet to come in. Edward Millbourne (The Springs) had a very solid back nine on his way to shooting 80 to take the lead in the U14’s category. Henry Plant also from The Springs was able to match Edward’s 80 but snuck into the top spot on count back. Oliver O’Dell (Goring & Streatley) and Isaac Hayes (Feldon Valley) both recorded an 80 to take the lead in the U12’s. Jakob Payne (Burford) birdied the 18th to shoot a -1 back nine on his way to finishing +1 (73) for the event. However Jakob’s 73 didn’t stay at the top for long as Nathan had 6 birdies on his way to shooting a very impressive 71 (-1).
Congratulations to Nathan on becoming the BB&O U14’s Champion and Oliver O’Dell on being crowned the BB&O U12 Champion.
