Gregor McKenzie (Kirtlington) continued his fine run of form this summer with a win in the Under 14s at Henley on 28th August. He finished 4 shots clear of Thomas Lawton (East Berkshire) and Sebastian Donaldson (Stoke Park). This result leaves Thomas in 1st place in the OOM just under 3 points clear of Taylor Paul (Stoke Park) in 2nd place with Will Tate (Caversham Heath) in 3rd. Sebastian could still win the OOM if the others all fall over, but realistically it would seem to be a battle between Thomas and Taylor for the OOM honours at Frilford Heath in the Autumn Half Term.

In the Under 12s Struan Hancock (Bearwood Lakes) recorded his 4th win of the season finishing with a 76 which gave him a 2 shot cushion over Carl Banner (Stoke Park). Thomas Gregory (Stoke Park) and Joshua Roche (Drayton Park) finished 3rd and 4th. If either Struan or Thomas win at Frilford Heath then they win the OOM. Could be ½ point or 7½ either way depending on how they finish – 1st or 2nd. No other options apart from the minor placings.
