Nike Futures Tour

Archie Smith (Caversham Heath) recorded his first Under 12 win of the season at Hazlemere in round 9 of the Nike Futures Tour on 12th August. He finished 2 clear of Thomas Gregory (Stoke Park) whose 36 OOM points in the last two events, has moved him up to 3rd spot just 2 points behind the  Ben Loveard (Woburn), who was away on holiday and 4 behind the leader Struan Hancock. This could be very tight as the OOM is decided on the best 9 out of 12 and with one abandoned 3 of the top 4 have to drop their lowest score.

In the Under 14s Melan Dhaubhadel took 1st place from Thomas Lawton (East Berkshire) on countback after rounds of 73 but split the 1st and 2nd place OOM points allocation. Harry Oddy (Buckingham) and Sebastian Tannum-Donaldson (Buckinghamshire) tied in 3rd place after shooting 75. Taylor Paul (Stoke Park) still leads the OOM after his good form in the early rounds, but close behind are Will Tate (Caversham Heath) and Thomas Lawton and with just 2 rounds to go the winner is likley to come from this trio.
