Nike Futures Tour

Nike Futures Tour

A much bigger field assembled at Sunningdale Ladies on 3rd May for the 3rd leg of the Nike Futures Tour. A short course but with a number of challenging Par 3, it is a tough Par 58. Nonetheless the scoring was good with 3 of the Under 14s shooting 62s. The countback gave the title to Harry West (Calcot Park) with Taylor Paul in 2nd and Sebastian Tannum-Donaldson in 3rd spot. The Order of Merit points are shared in the event of a tie.

In the Under 12s Joshua Roche (Drayton Park) led the field with a 67 with Archie Smith (Caversham Heath) taking 2nd place from Conor Gough (Stoke Park) on countback. An amazing nett 47 from Huw Pearson (Buckingham) was the lowest score we have seen in any BB&O tournament and Simon Mead (Newbury & Crookham) must have been a bit disappointed his nett 50 was only good enough for 2nd place.  Great to see the boys handicaps come tumbling down.
