Ollie wins Futures Tour

The Futures Tour continues to thrive as 60 players competed at Burford Golf Club on Sunday 20th July. Alessandro Zhang (Beaconsfield) set the pace in the U12’s age division after shooting +10 which included a hole-out eagle from 160 yards on the 5th. Reuben Crighton (Lambourne) finished 1st with a very impressive +4, 3 shots ahead of Rex Pickavance (Castle Royle). Dominic Rosser (The Caversham) continued his fine form in the U14’s but fell short as Vinnie James (Drayton Park) had three birdies on his way to shooting +5.

It was a close contest in the U16’s age division. Logan Matthews (Goring & Streatley) finished 3rd on +4 with Faris Ullah (The Caversham) one shot better in 2nd place. Despite dropping 2 shots in his final 3 holes, Ollie O’Dell (The Springs) was able to secure the Futures Tour win with a great score of +2.

Congratulations to Reuben, Vinnie & Ollie on winning their age divisions.
