Rob wins County Card Event

The County Card Event took place on a bright and breezy day at Newbury & Crookham. With over 50 County Card holders competing including 2 previous winners it was all to play for. Nick Middle (Temple) went out early and set a clubhouse target of 36 points. Ashley Smith from Hennerton had 3 birdies on his way to shooting 37 points to take the lead. Nick’s 36 points was matched by Alistair Booth (Frilford Heath) and John Sharples (Huntswood) but Alistair snuck into 4th position on count back. Steven Matthews (Harleyford) birdied the 18th to take the lead but this didn’t stay in the lead for long as Rob Harris (Studley Wood) shot a very impressive 39 points.

Congratulations to Rob on winning the County Card Event!
