Spring Trophy

Spring Trophy

The Spring Trophy was held at Temple on Monday 1st May. As always on Bank Holidays we were subject to some wet weather but the course held up really well and luckily the rain didn’t last too long. With a full field this was always going to be a hotly contested affair. The winner with a fantastic gross 69 (-1) was Shane Slatter (Calcot Park) just a shot behind was Harrison Arnold (East Berkshire) and a further shot back in third was Asa Phillips (Goring & Streatley).

The net competition was won by 13 year old Finlay Szafnauer (Frilford Heath) with a magnificent net 65 (Gross 73). He won by 4 strokes from Oscar Fowler (Stoke Park) who shot a credible net 69 on a difficult day.
