Thomas wins Futures Tour

The U16’s returned to North Oxford for the Futures Tour where all competitors were chasing Order of Merit points. Jakob Payne (Bicester) set the pace dropping only 2 shots and finishing with a score of 69 to take the lead in the U16’s. Archie Sollis (Tadmarton Heath) finished just 1 shot back but was pipped to second place on count back by Joe Swaine (The Springs). This means that Jakob has now won his age division at this venue for the last four years!

Thomas James (Frilford Heath) had three birdies en route to shooting 68 (+1) to win the U14 age category. Jackson Tuohy (Tadmarton Heath) shot 76 to finish second ahead of Isaac Hayes (Feldon Valley) on count back. Benjamin Wragg (The Oxfordshire) had a steady round and finished with a nett 65.

Sebastian Duffield (Sand Martins) continued to dominate the U12’s age division with a gross 74. His consistency, both last year and this season, has brought him to the attention of the BB&O Under 14 Manager and he has already represented BB&O at U14 level.  Jack Grant (Wexham Park) had a fantastic net score of 63 however Beau Wheeler (Burford) went 2 shots better with a nett 61 to win the U12’s net division.

Congratulations to Jakob, Thomas and Sebastian on winning their age divisions!
